Maria realises in an ever changing world that support for and within within the Arts is paramount.
As a result, she is now extending her services to provide assistance to those aspiring actors and performers who wish to 'tread the boards', by giving something back.
Services
Maria offers a comprehensive set of services to those aspiring to undertake careers in the performing Arts.
In areas of voice - speech, monologues, articulation / accents and production. As well as voice for song - intonation, melody, timing.
Acting - Maria provides in depth focus on individual performance styles of Naturalism, Brechtian, Artuadian acting, whilst she also delivers tutorials on performance genres Shakespeare, Classical Theatre (Greek & Roman), Theatre of the Oppressed, plus many more genres.
Drama, in itself, is a work in progress. Maria works with performers to enhance their skills in improvisation technique, in order to be in the moment and deliver a performance in a manner most natural to the actor, visualisation by reading context and understanding subtext of storyline, plots and character motives, characterisation when building characters personality and distinguishing traits, plus devising for adding detail to scene settings and story development.
About
Maria's tutorial and coaching experience extends from leading community performance workshops, to children's theatre projects, as well as instilling formal education in academic settings.
Maria's work involvement has taken place up and down the country, in areas such as Liverpool, Winchester, Kent and London.
Maria has coached at Primary Schools such as St Luke's in Liverpool, B6 Sixth form College in London, Rainbow Montessori pre-school and Gravesham Community Theatre project.

During such occasions both group sessions and one to one focus was delivered.
Additional Info
Maria has championed charity and community events for the arts, through her involvement with Abbey Singers; a close harmony of singers performing at charity events, at shelters for the homeless and homes for the elderly. Additionally, she performed with Southbank Community Chorus performing In The Name of The Torch Royal Festival Hall, plus a community performance Carol Chamber Concert for Demelza Hospice.

Maria is a dynamic performer, with a varied and versatile skill set.
As as a coaching performer, workshop leader, mentor, singing teacher, school music teacher and education project manager she has a wealth of arts experience.
Maria has collaborated with education settings, theatre venues, orchestras, opera companies, chamber ensembles, in the both private & state, as well as voluntary sectors, engaging children with disabilities and elderly citizens with dementia.
Maria is innovative, visionary, artistic and committed.
